SCHEDULE: Doors open at 8:30 for athletes and spectators.  The Competition starts at 10am. All teams compete once.


ADMISSION: Cash is the only form of payment accepted. There is a bank machine on site in the lower lobby. 

  • Adults $10.00
  • Students (with student ID) $5.00
  • Children 5 and under are free.


CONCESSION: There will be a concession located on site hosted by the Oval Cafe. It will include various lunch / dinner items as well as snack and beverage choices. NO OUTSIDE FOOD is allowed in the venue (small snacks and water in backpack ok).


LOCAL VENDORS: We are excited to have our feature vendor, Total Spirit attend! They will have everything your cheerleader could possibly need. In addition we will have other local vendors showcasing their amazing items! Also in attendance is Original Bows & Jones Co. Custom Creations with amazing new products!

​​WHAT MAKES THIS EVENT SPECIAL?

  • Held in the amazing Richmond Olympic Oval (6111 River Road, Richmond BC), the speed skating venue for the 2010 Olympic Games www.richmondoval.ca
  • Plenty of seating and space to ensure everyone gets to watch all the teams they want to see AND a FAN ZONE in front of the competition mat to ensure all your families and fans get priority seating to watch their favourite teams—YOURS\
  • USASF ALL STAR LEVELS 1-6 , ALL STAR PREP, SCHOOL & DANCE, SPECIAL NEEDS & PARENT TEAM divisions offered.
  • We provide a full 42’X54’ sprung competition floor AND a full 42’X54’ non-sprung warm up floor in addition to a non-sprung warm up mat, a non-sprung stunt mat AND a sprung tumble strip! Rest assured you will feel calm & relaxed in warm ups knowing your teams will have a full 25min to fully warm up (including a 5min break before your last warm up station).
  • We are proud to provide our Judges with video playback to help ensure correct deductions are given.  All teams are notified of any safety deductions or rule infractions BEFORE scores are submitted to the tabulation table so there are no surprises!
  • The VARSITY STANDARD OF SCORING is used for all the All-Star portions of the competition. Please click the link for complete information and the deduction system we use.
  • EVERY TINY & MINI athlete gets an individual award regardless of placement. Top 3 teams in each division will be recognized during the awards ceremony.
  • Only a short 20min drive over the border from WA State making it a great choice for American teams looking for a 1 day event to kick off their season in early December.
  • Conveniently located only 10min from Vancouver International Airport for teams traveling from farther away.


PARKING:

Please note that there is NO PARKING at the Oval or WCB this year. There are numerous parking lots surrounding the oval. IN ADDITION, we have secured a city overflow parking lot located at CITY WORKS YARD. There are approximately 375 spots there which will have a shuttle going back and forth from the Lot to the Oval. If it is a nice day, you can walk along the dyke.

​EVENT PROGRAMS: 
We will not be selling event programs in an effort to save a few trees!  Please forward the FINAL schedule to your families.  There will also be video screens at the event with the schedule posted.


DRIVING DIRECTIONS:
From Victoria via Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal

  1. As you leave the Tsawassen Ferry Terminal you will be on highway #17.
  2. Look for signs to Highway #99 Northbound (approximately 7 minutes from the Ferry Terminal).
  3. Highway #99 goes through the George Massey Tunnel.
  4. After the George Massey Tunnel stay on Highway #99 and take exit #36 (Westminster Hwy) which leads into the heart of Richmond, home to the City Center.
  5. Turn right on Gilbert.
  6. Turn left on Elmbridge.
  7. Turn right on Hollybridge.
  8. Turn left on River Road.


From Alberta, the Okanagan or Northern BC

  1. If you are travelling west on Highway #1 from Alberta, the Okanagan or Northern British Columbia the main junction for all will be near Hope.
  2. Once in Hope, follow highway #1 past Chilliwack and Abbotsford to Exit #66 in Langley.
  3. This leads onto Highway #10.
  4. Follow Highway#10 to the exit leading to Highway #99.
  5. Follow Highway #99 through the George Massey Tunnel.
  6. After the George Massey Tunnel stay on Highway #99 and take exit #36 (Westminster Hwy) which leads into the heart of Richmond, home to the City Center.
  7. Turn right on Gilbert.
  8. Turn left on Elmbridge.
  9. Turn right on Hollybridge.
  10. Turn left on River Road.


From Seattle

  1. Take Interstate #5 all the way to the Peace Arch US/Canada Border Crossing. Interstate #5 changes to Highway #99 once you have crossed the border into Canada
  2. Follow Highway #99 until you pass through the George Massey Tunnel (approximately 25 minutes drive from the US/Canada Border Crossing)
  3. After the George Massey Tunnel stay on Highway #99 and take exit #36 (Westminster Hwy) which leads into the heart of Richmond, home to the City Center
  4. Turn right on Gilbert
  5. Turn left on Elmbridge
  6. Turn right on Hollybridge
  7. Turn left on River Road
